Organise a Taikai

We make it easy to organise an Taikai. We provide a registration form, competition management, scoring, result carousels and
in depth details views with all information.

Keeping Score

All scores are collected centrally, and we ensure the rules are followed. This simplifies the score keeping process
and makes the competition run smoothly.

Share the result

All scores are made available as soon as they been entered, allowing everyone to be able to view them in real time on their smartphones, tables etc.
The carousel function enables you to show the scores on a big screen.

The Mission

  • Simplify the score recording
  • Enhance the experience for spectators
  • Enable oragnisers to focus on the competition
  • Make Taikai administration a breaze
  • Build up a database of competitions and competitors
  • Make more aware of Embu and how exciting it is!

The Vision

To create a system that is encourage more to organise Taikai's, encouraging more kenshi's to compete, building life long friendships.

Background

When the Swedish Federation was arranging the 8th European Taikai in 2019 the plan was to create a new electronic score board, but the delivery of this never happened. I was then asked, 1 week before the competition, if I could fix a digital solution instead, and thats how this project was born. Which actually, in my mind, turned out to be much better solution with more functions, and it can be used globally.

So what are the benefits?

  • Online registration form
  • Organize the competitions before or after recieving registrations
  • Communication with participants is simplified
  • Score keeping is fast and standardized.
  • Scoring rules are centralized.
  • Scores, leader boards and stats are visible to everyone.
  • Historical data can be used to educate new Judges

And there are more features being developed...

So how does it work?

Just download this brochure that will explain how easy it is to organise a Taikai, setting up competions, online registrations and keeping score.
The brochure is also good to print and keep at the judges table during the competition.
